Helpful Hints

Here are some helpful hints to consider
when you place your next order:

1. Pattern Tile Work
• Estimate total footage and laterals based on spacings
• How many tees or taps/acre?
• How many couplers/acre?
• How many plugs or end caps/acre?

2. When doing terraces, waterways or other similar government projects:
• Read the plans from your local soil conservation office carefully. Most will specify the   exact products acceptable for the application. All TIMEWELL products meet or exceed   SCS 606  specifications.
• How many inlets/risers are needed and in what configuration?
• How many reducers are needed?
• How many blind tees or reducing tees are needed?

3. Outlet Pipes
• Always use animal guards

4. Mains
• Calculate grade and total footage carefully
• If reducing, how many reducers are needed and what size?

5. Other important  considerations:
• How many rolls of tape do you need?
• How many bundles of flags do you need?
• Do you have directions to the drop site prepared for your TIMEWELL Customer   Service Representative?
• If the load requires two stops, which portion of the load will be dropped first?
